Senior .NET Developer

About the role

Computershare's Technology Services team is looking for a Senior Software Developer (.NET) to join its Melbourne-based team. You will report to the Lead Developer and work on a portfolio of applications and supporting frameworks, partnering with stakeholders to design, build, test and deploy new capabilities while supporting existing systems. The role sits in a collaborative Agile environment where you can mentor junior team members and influence technical direction.

Location: Melbourne office for a minimum of three days a week, with the option to work from home for part of the week.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy software solutions that deliver business value and good user outcomes.
• Support and maintain existing applications, troubleshoot issues and implement practical solutions.
• Take part in an L3 on-call support rotation, investigating and resolving production and route-to-live incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis and help resolve complex technical challenges.
• Contribute to development standards, best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and support junior developers.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes and influence decisions.

Required profile

• Strong experience in .NET (C#) and SQL development in enterprise environments.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps teams, with a solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Exposure to financial services and relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded.
