Senior Manager, Workforce Planning and Management

About the role

The Senior Manager, Workforce Planning & Management is responsible for the workforce strategy, planning capability and operational performance of the Transformation Delivery Hub, a team of around 600 resources. The role advises senior leadership on workforce investment, capacity and risk, and drives analytics and continuous improvement across the hub.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the workforce strategy aligned to enterprise transformation priorities and provide strategic advice to CTO leadership.
• Establish and maintain demand forecasts and capacity models, monitor supply vs demand and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Monitor workforce performance metrics, productivity trends and economics, delivering insights for strategic decision‑making.
• Lead the Workforce Planning practice, set methodologies, governance and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate hub governance activities, performance reviews and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise outcomes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in workforce planning or resource management in large, complex organisations (500+ resources).
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead teams in transformation or portfolio delivery settings.
• Strong analytical, forecasting and scenario‑planning skills with a data‑driven mindset.
