Senior Manager, Statutory & Regulatory Reporting

About the role

The Senior Manager, Statutory & Regulatory Reporting ensures regulatory and reporting obligations are met to a high standard, on time and in compliance with accounting and prudential standards across Latitude Financial Services in Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead finance transformation initiatives, focusing on automation and maximising Certent Disclosure Management (CDM) and Workday reporting capabilities.
• Prepare and monitor the company’s financial position, including dividend repatriation, solvency and regulatory compliance, and provide analysis to directors and senior management.
• Provide technical accounting advice on new pronouncements, business combinations, hedge accounting (AASB 139/9) and ensure accurate statutory and regulatory reporting to APRA, RBA, RBNZ, ABS and Statistics NZ.
• Oversee year‑end and half‑year statutory reporting using CDM, prepare external financial reports and internal directors’ packs, and present results to the finance leadership team.
• Execute responsibilities within the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, report to the Audit Committee and liaise with regulators as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years experience in statutory, regulatory or management reporting within banking or financial services.
• Practical experience with securitised lending and hedge accounting is highly favoured.
• Strong knowledge of Australian and New Zealand accounting standards and relevant legislative/regulatory requirements (APRA, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business; CA/CPAAI qualification preferred.
