Senior Risk Analyst

About the role

Latitude Financial is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to develop and enhance quantitative models that support lending and risk management decisions. You will work within the Risk Modelling Centre of Excellence, contributing to credit scorecards, IFRS 9 provisioning, forecasting, stress testing and emerging risk frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deploy traditional credit risk models, including credit scorecards and IFRS 9 models, following the Model Governance framework.
• Identify, clean and prepare modelling data, perform validation and support research into new methodologies.
• Support model monitoring, enhancements and governance across credit, provisioning, forecasting, stress testing and climate risk.
• Perform ad‑hoc analytics related to model development, monitoring and performance, providing insights to business stakeholders.
• Deliver risk modelling priorities within tight timelines and contribute to business‑critical enquiries and strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in a quantitative discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience developing quantitative models in consumer risk management or the financial industry.
• Understanding of traditional modelling techniques (logistic regression, PD/LGD/EAD) and high‑level knowledge of machine‑learning methods.
• Commercial acumen and experience across parts of the credit life‑cycle.
• Familiarity with international and local accounting standards, particularly IFRS 9.
• Strong collaborative attitude and ability to work with business stakeholders.
