Senior Manager, Engagement & Channels

About the role

This senior position leads the College’s integrated marketing, communications and member engagement strategy, shaping how the organisation connects with its members and key audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated engagement strategy aligned with member needs and organisational priorities.
• Lead brand expression, reputation management and crisis communications across all channels.
• Oversee channel and content performance, improving reach, accessibility and effectiveness.
• Strengthen digital, lifecycle and personalised engagement using member insights and segmentation.
• Design and run multi‑channel campaigns, using data and feedback to optimise outcomes.
• Collaborate across the College to translate insights into coordinated initiatives.
• Lead, develop and up‑skill a multidisciplinary team to deliver a cohesive engagement model.

Required profile

• Significant senior leadership experience in marketing, communications, engagement or digital functions, including managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven track record of creating integrated engagement strategies that boost participation and organisational outcomes.
• Experience using customer/member insights, data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Strong background in multi‑channel communications (digital, social, direct, traditional).
• Expertise in brand, reputation and organisational communications within complex stakeholder environments.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across a large organisation.
• Experience leading organisational or capability change and establishing new ways of working.
• Experience in a member‑based, professional association, health or education setting is highly regarded.
