Senior Manager, Agile Program Management

About the role

Publicis Sapient is looking for a Senior Manager, Delivery Lead for an established federal government engagement focused on Microsoft-enabled data and AI transformation. The role takes ownership of delivery across multiple Scrum teams, brings clarity to complex delivery environments and works closely with client executives and delivery stakeholders to turn transformation priorities into reliable, measurable outcomes. It is a hands-on delivery leadership position.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery across multiple Data, AI and Microsoft transformation workstreams within an established federal government engagement.
• Lead multiple Scrum teams, aligning priorities, dependencies, milestones and shared outcomes.
• Apply Agile and SAFe practices pragmatically to improve flow, transparency and predictability.
• Partner with client executives and senior stakeholders to give clear delivery direction and surface decisions.
• Mobilise and support multidisciplinary teams spanning delivery, product, data, AI, Microsoft technology, engineering, architecture, security and change.
• Turn complex priorities into delivery plans, sequenced work and clear team accountabilities.
• Anticipate and remove blockers such as dependencies, data readiness, technical integration, security, environment and adoption challenges.
• Establish delivery rhythms including planning, prioritisation, program increments, Scrum of Scrums, demos, retrospectives and executive reviews.
• Own delivery health and commercial performance, making trade-offs across outcomes, quality, pace, capacity, scope and financial commitments.
• Maintain governance for a protected government environment covering delivery risk, security, privacy, responsible AI and assurance.
• Strengthen the customer relationship by understanding emerging needs and shaping follow-on opportunities.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading complex technology delivery in federal government environments, across multiple teams or workstreams.
• Current or previous experience delivering Microsoft-enabled transformation and data or AI initiatives.
• Experience with federal government delivery, security, governance and stakeholder environments.
• Strong executive engagement skills and confidence stepping into an established engagement quickly.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across product, experience, data, AI, engineering, architecture, security and change.
• Pragmatic delivery mindset, commercial awareness and inclusive leadership style.

Required skills

• Significant Agile and SAFe experience, including coordinating multiple Scrum teams.
• Preferred: experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure AI or related technologies.
• Preferred: strong background in Lean Portfolio Management and Agile budgeting, and ability to drive Agile maturity assessments.
