Senior Litigation Lawyer / Senior Associate – Dispute Resolution

About the role

McCullough Robertson is seeking a senior commercial litigation lawyer to join its Brisbane team. You will work on high‑profile, complex disputes across a range of industries, collaborating closely with partners and seasoned professionals. The role offers strong professional development and the chance to build lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice and representation in commercial litigation matters.
• Manage complex disputes, including insolvency, corporate compliance, defamation, intellectual property and white‑collar crime cases.
• Draft pleadings, motions and other court documents, and appear in court as required.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop case strategy.
• Maintain and grow client relationships through proactive communication and strategic advice.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years post‑admission experience as a senior lawyer or senior associate.
• Proven track record of success in commercial litigation within a mid‑ to large‑sized firm.
• Strong analytical abilities and confidence in navigating complex legal issues.
• Proactive approach to client management and relationship building.
• Genuine passion for commercial litigation and a collaborative mindset.
