Senior Legal Counsel – Capital Markets & M&A

About the role

An experienced Capital Markets & Corporate M&A lawyer is needed to join the high‑performing in‑house legal team of a fast‑growing technology infrastructure company at the forefront of artificial intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead legal support across debt financing, lending arrangements and other strategic funding initiatives.
• Advise on equity capital raisings, investment transactions and associated corporate matters.
• Support corporate development initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Structure and negotiate joint ventures, strategic partnerships and investment arrangements.
• Manage relationships with financial advisers, investors, lenders and external legal counsel throughout transaction lifecycles.

Required profile

• 8–10+ years post‑qualification experience in a leading national or international law firm or sophisticated in‑house team.
• Significant experience in debt finance and/or equity capital markets, with exposure to M&A, joint ventures or strategic partnerships.
• Experience supporting capital raising, infrastructure investment, private equity or corporate development programmes.
• Commercial judgement and ability to provide pragmatic, solutions‑focused advice to senior executives.
