Senior Learning Designer – Primary Mathematics

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Learning Designer to lead research, commissioning and development of innovative primary mathematics products and services. The role supports our business strategy, sales targets and leverages AI to enhance efficiency and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Research, commission and develop print and digital educational products for Years F‑6.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of the Primary Education Product team, especially the Mathematics portfolio.
• Maintain strong connections with the education market through classroom observations, prototype trials, conferences and webinars.
• Build and sustain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product and Data coordinators to ensure efficient publishing administration.

Required profile

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Primary Education or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in learning design with a focus on digital solutions that improve teaching and learning outcomes.
• Background in educational publishing or related fields, including digital‑first workflows and AI integration.
• Knowledge of the Australian education market and digital technology applications.
• Excellent written and oral communication, project management and organisational skills.

Required skills

• High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
