Senior Lead Data Analyst - Medical Business

About the role

Stryker is looking for a commercially minded and influential Senior Lead Data Analyst to join its Data & Analytics team and act as a strategic partner to its Medical business. The role suits someone who enjoys finding opportunities, solving complex business problems with data and working closely with leaders to drive commercial outcomes. You will lead high-impact analytics initiatives, shape strategic decisions and help stakeholders unlock value from data.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the Medical division and advise them on data-driven opportunities.
• Lead discussions on how analytics can solve real business challenges and deliver measurable value.
• Own analytics initiatives from opportunity identification and business case development through to delivery and value realisation.
• Develop clear analyses, dashboards and recommendations that support decision-making.
• Evaluate opportunities, quantify business impact and align priorities with strategic and financial outcomes.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor colleagues, share knowledge and help adopt analytics best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Science or a Technology-related area.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, data science or a related field.
• Experience leading end-to-end analytics initiatives with measurable business value.
• Experience supporting commercial, sales, marketing or operational functions.
• Ability to build relationships, influence decisions and communicate complex analysis clearly.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL and at least one analytics language such as Python or R.
• BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience driving adoption of analytics platforms, standards or best practices.
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Databricks or similar modern analytics platforms.
