Senior Key Account Manager – Companion Animal

About the role

The Senior Key Account Manager, Companion Animal drives sustainable, profitable growth across the most strategic, multi‑channel accounts in the Australian Animal Health market. You will lead account strategies, joint business plans and complex negotiations across veterinary, e‑commerce, retail and wholesale channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute senior strategic customer partnerships and executive stakeholder leadership.
• Own customer growth modelling, scenario planning and performance recovery.
• Lead complex commercial negotiations, tenders and contract management.
• Activate omnichannel initiatives and ensure execution excellence across diverse customer environments.
• Mentor KAM colleagues, share best practices and convert learnings into scalable tools for the broader team.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Category Management or equivalent commercial roles within Animal Health, FMCG, Consumer Healthcare or Retail.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead cross‑functional plans and deliver execution excellence without formal people‑management authority.
• Willingness and ability to travel across Australia for customer engagement.
