Senior Inventory Officer

About the role

The Senior Inventory Officer will support the delivery and introduction of critical Defence capabilities at Victoria Barracks, Melbourne. You will manage inventory, codification and logistics for a range of Land projects, ensuring equipment is accurately accounted for and transitioned to operational units.

Key responsibilities

• Manage codification and cataloguing of Defence equipment and system components.
• Process External Purchase Orders in MILIS and coordinate equipment issue to Defence units.
• Support development and maintenance of Integrated Logistics Support documentation.
• Assist with Through Life Support and sustainment activities across major Defence projects.

Required profile

• Experience in inventory management, logistics or Defence materiel management.
• Knowledge of Defence inventory systems such as MILIS.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Active NV1 Defence Security Clearance (or higher).
