Senior Hydraulic & Fire Protection Engineer

A multi-disciplinary consultancy in Sydney, operating for more than 20 years across property sectors in Australia, is seeking a motivated intermediate hydraulic and fire protection engineer. The role suits someone with a positive outlook who wants to work on a diverse range of building services projects and progress their career. Key responsibilities

• Provide hydraulic and fire protection design for building services across multiple industry sectors
• Write reports, tenders, business correspondence and procedure manuals
• Conduct site audits and develop quotations and engineering submissions
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the team
• Grow the business and develop strong, long-lasting client relationships
• Manage your own performance targets and work to deadlines

Required profile

• Intermediate hydraulic and fire protection engineer with 4+ years of experience
• Relevant accreditation with Engineer Australia; NER registration and CPEng candidates preferred or working towards them
• Experience in consulting within the building services industry
• Ability to liaise with clients and provide exceptional customer service
• Team player who can also work alone, able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Australian Standards and best engineering practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to think laterally and find innovative design solutions
