Senior HR Business Partner – Commercial & Functions

About the role

Diageo is seeking a senior HR Business Partner to support Commercial, Marketing and Finance functions at its Sydney headquarters. As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, you will help shape people strategy during a period of growth and transition.

Key responsibilities

• Own the people strategy and annual plan for Commercial, Marketing and Finance, aligning with global and local priorities.
• Act as senior trusted advisor to executive members, influencing organisational choices and talent decisions.
• Lead end‑to‑end People & Culture projects, setting outcomes, governance and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with Centres of Excellence and offshore People Services to deliver talent, reward, learning, and organisational effectiveness initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven senior HRBP experience in a complex, matrixed environment, partnering with executive leaders.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to link people strategy to growth, brand and financial outcomes.
• Deep generalist capability across talent, organisational effectiveness, culture, leadership, performance and change.
• Understanding of Australian employment law, people risk and employee relations matters.
