Senior Graphic Designer - Vehicle Wraps & Commercial Signage

About the role

An established vehicle wrap and commercial signage specialist in the Illawarra is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer to join its client's team. The role focuses on design, client communication and planning workflow, working closely with the production team so projects stay organised, accurate and moving efficiently. It suits someone who can take projects from concept through to production-ready artwork.

Key responsibilities

• Design vehicle wraps, commercial signage, shopfronts and illuminated signage
• Create branding concepts, layouts and visual presentations
• Prepare accurate, scaled and production-ready artwork
• Plan jobs and coordinate the design workflow through to production
• Communicate directly with clients about concepts, revisions and approvals
• Work closely with installers and the production team
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional graphic design experience
• Signage and/or vehicle wrap industry experience required
• Ability to set up accurate, scaled, print-ready production files independently
• Strong typography, layout, branding and visual communication skills
• Excellent organisational and workflow management ability
• Confidence communicating with clients during design consultations and revisions
• Attention to detail and pride in high-quality work; able to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team

Required skills

• Advanced Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Bonus: signage estimating, quoting, account management or project management experience is highly regarded and leads to higher remuneration
