Senior Frontend Engineer – Business Accounts

About the role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Business Accounts team, you will build the intelligent orchestration layer that unifies cash, yield, lending and other Airwallex products into a single financial experience for business customers. You will work closely with design, backend and infrastructure teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable web applications. This position is based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality micro‑frontend applications using React, TypeScript and Single‑SPA.
• Implement Backend‑for‑Frontend services with Apollo GraphQL and Node.js.
• Collaborate with design to create a design system and component library (Material UI, Ant Design).
• Publish reusable NPM packages and widget libraries for client integration.
• Deploy services on GCP, Aliyun K8S and Cloudflare using GitLab CI/CD.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests with React Testing Library, Cypress and achieve 80%+ coverage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of frontend development experience, including 2+ years designing frontend architecture.
• Experience building large‑scale financial web systems.
