Senior Frontend Engineer (Angular)

About the role

Mable, part of the Attain Healthtech Group, is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer in Sydney. The role focuses on delivering polished, accessible interfaces and platform quality, with work across the stack centred on building and maintaining an Angular application, contributing to the Design System and Component Library, and driving accessibility standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members, designers and stakeholders to solve complex problems and design effective frontend solutions.
• Take technical ownership of entire software projects, ensuring frontend architecture and applications are robust, accessible and user-friendly.
• Lead the design, development, testing and deployment of Angular frontend code to production.
• Build and maintain reusable components in the Design System and Component Library.
• Ensure user-facing features meet WCAG accessibility standards.
• Produce clear documentation, including component usage guides, architectural decisions and code comments.
• Resolve frontend issues based on customer and stakeholder feedback.
• Follow clean, standardised coding conventions and champion frontend best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to architectural discussions and technical decisions.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of professional experience in frontend development, primarily with Angular.
• Proven experience with Design Systems and Component Libraries.
• Solid understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and assistive technology support.
• Experience designing and implementing frontend solutions from requirements and design specifications.
• Experience testing and verifying code.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially for technical documentation.
