Senior Engineer - Civil

About the role

Join Egis' Urban Development team in Brisbane to work on award‑winning large‑scale development projects across South East Queensland and nationally. The role involves a generalist approach across water and transport engineering, delivering high‑quality civil infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects through all lifecycle stages – from feasibility studies and concept design to detailed design, construction administration and client certification.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, designers and drafters to exceed client requirements on time and within budget.
• Prepare proposal documentation, fee estimates, methodology development, client liaison and contract negotiation.
• Review technical deliverables such as reports, detailed designs and construction quality assurance data for compliance with standards.

Required profile

• 7+ years of civil engineering experience in urban development, water and transport infrastructure in South East Queensland.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Washington Accord) and RPEQ registration or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, local council planning schemes and greenfield project development.
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and mentoring junior staff.
