Senior Document Controller - Transmission Project

About the role

ACCIONA is recruiting a Senior Document Controller to lead document control on a transmission project, based in the project office in Metro Melbourne. The role sets the standard for how project information is managed and shared, keeping engineering, construction, quality and commercial teams aligned with clients and subcontractors. It is a regional role that includes the option to be based at camp as required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead document control across the project and set clear procedures
• Mentor Document Controllers and project administrators, and train teams on systems
• Manage numbering, revision control, transmittals and workflows in the project system
• Protect document integrity, security and traceability through audits and quality checks
• Meet contractual, ISO and company document requirements across the project
• Act as central contact for document issues with project teams, clients and subcontractors
• Report on turnaround times and overdue approvals, and improve workflows

Required profile

• Certificate IV or Diploma in records or business administration
• Document control experience on infrastructure or major projects
• Experience managing project documents in a recognised system
• Desirable: records, information or document control certification

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and SharePoint
