Senior Delivery Lead, Portfolio (12-Month FTC)

About the role

Senior Delivery Lead, Portfolio (12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract) within ANZ’s Tech Strategy & Execution division. The role sits in the Fortify regulatory program, transforming the bank’s financial crime risk management through technology enablement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage intake of new and changed technology demand, ensuring requests are clear, complete and delivery‑ready.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define scope, outcomes, urgency, dependencies, risks and delivery considerations.
• Facilitate triage, prioritisation and trade‑off discussions across business, technology, architecture, portfolio and delivery teams.
• Assess demand against strategic alignment, regulatory drivers, customer impact, readiness and capacity.
• Maintain a transparent demand backlog with status, ownership, decisions and next steps.
• Coordinate estimation, solutioning and planning inputs to move demand into appropriate governance forums.
• Prepare packs, dashboards and updates to support prioritisation, planning and decision‑making.
• Develop and continuously improve demand‑management processes, templates and tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technology delivery and demand‑management initiatives in a complex, regulated environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to work across business, architecture, portfolio and delivery teams.
• Understanding of financial crime, AML/CTF regulations and related risk frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to translate complex demand into clear delivery plans.
