Senior Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to lead governance, risk, and compliance initiatives for our critical information systems. Based in Brisbane, you will work with a global GRC team to maintain ISO27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type 2 certifications and support new certification efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ISO27001:2022 and SOC 2 Type 2 certification activities, including audit coordination.
• Mentor junior cyber security analysts and provide guidance on compliance tasks.
• Prepare reports and documentation for security incident investigations and regulatory compliance.
• Respond to customer security and privacy questionnaires and support assurance activities.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience in a cyber security GRC role.
• Proven experience leading ISO27001 and SOC 2 certification programs.
• Ability to interpret legal/regulatory documents and coordinate responses with internal teams.
• Strong analytical, research and organisational skills with high attention to detail.

Required skills

• ISO27001:2022 framework
• SOC 2 Type 2 framework
• GRC tools such as Jira, Confluence, Vanta or OneTrust
• Familiarity with regulations like HIPAA, NIS2, DORA, APRA CPS 230/234
