Senior Cost Management Surveyor

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to provide quantity surveying and cost management services on major infrastructure projects across NSW and Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop cost planning and estimating during design phases and measure quantities from design drawings.
• Produce cash‑flow forecasts, manage construction‑phase costs, and provide capital cost advice and life‑cycle costing.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers and other quantity surveyors on a wide range of projects.
• Mentor junior team members and deliver high‑quality technical advice to clients.

Required profile

• Senior QS experience, preferably in a consulting environment, with knowledge of Australian standards across health, community, commercial, civil, industrial and major projects.
• Proven track record in cost planning, estimating, procurement, construction‑phase cost management and client‑facing advisory services.
• Relevant tertiary education and membership of AIQS, RICS or equivalent.
