Senior Consultant - Technology Strategy and Transformation, Financial Services

About the role

EY's Financial Services Consulting team is looking for a Senior Consultant to join its Technology Strategy and Transformation practice. You will work hands-on with banking, insurance and wealth and asset management clients to deliver innovation, transformation and value across technology and operations, partnering with local and global cross-functional teams and clients. The role is based in Warringah, Sydney, and flexible work arrangements with reduced hours may be possible.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of transformation projects that optimise business value, partnering with clients to implement change across systems, processes and operating models.
• Manage project timelines, risks and stakeholder expectations so outcomes are delivered on time and within scope.
• Contribute to project planning, status reporting, risk management and quality assurance.
• Apply delivery frameworks such as Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid to projects of varying complexity.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience delivering projects or programs involving technology transformation, preferably in financial services.
• Ideally at least one year of experience as a Business Analyst in a consulting role, with a track record in technology transformation delivery, project management or program support.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in diverse teams and engage stakeholders across business and technology domains.
• Strong organisational skills, communication and problem-solving ability.
