Senior Consultant – Tax Technology & Transformation

About the role

Join EY’s Tax Technology and Transformation team in Brisbane as a Senior Consultant. You will help leading corporations navigate the digital tax landscape, combining enterprise systems with emerging technologies to deliver innovative, compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide tax technology services to large global clients, addressing data‑intensive challenges and emerging compliance requirements.
• Lead intelligent‑automation initiatives that reshape daily tax operations.
• Participate in large‑scale ERP/EPM rollouts using platforms such as Tagetik, SAP PaPM, Anaplan, Oracle TRCS and OneStream.
• Design and implement tax governance solutions, often leveraging Microsoft SharePoint.
• Enhance tax analytics and reporting through direct/indirect tax system configuration and advanced data visualisation.
• Drive transformation of tax operating models to improve agility and resilience.
• Explore and prototype Generative AI use cases for next‑generation tax solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business, Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tax, tax technology or a comparable consulting role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to clients.
• Proficiency with ERP/EPM systems such as S/4HANA, Oracle, D365 or WorkDay.

• Data‑analytics tools: Power BI, Tableau.
