Senior Clinical Psychologist - Brain Injury (North Queensland)

About the role

Townsville Hospital and Health Service is recruiting a Senior Clinical Psychologist for its North Queensland Brain Injury Service. The role is fixed term temporary, 38 hours per fortnight, running until 31 May 2028, and suits a motivated clinician with a high level of experience in rehabilitation who wants a new challenge or career progression. Required profile

• General registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
• Current enrolment in, or completion of, an accredited master's or doctoral qualification in clinical psychology or health psychology is desirable.
• Current enrolment in, or completion of, an accredited PsyBA Supervision course, or eligibility to obtain Supervisor status with the Psychology Board of Australia, is highly regarded.
• Ability to operate a class C motor vehicle with the appropriate licence endorsement.
• The position is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role; a probation period may apply and pre-employment checks will be conducted.

• Salary of $64.64 to $69.55 per hour (HP4 classification).
