Senior Civil Engineer – Water Infrastructure

About the role

Join AECOM’s Water Infrastructure team in New South Wales to design and deliver critical water and wastewater projects. You will work alongside industry experts and collaborate with interstate and international offices.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design of water networks, wastewater treatment plant upgrades and renewals.
• Coordinate, manage and deliver projects from bidding through construction support.
• Ensure quality‑assurance processes are followed to deliver on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and multidisciplinary AECOM teams.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and CPEng registration (or eligibility).
• Demonstrated experience on water and/or wastewater projects in a consulting and design environment.
• Interest in mentoring, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
• Passion for high‑quality work and excellent client engagement.
