Senior Civil Engineer

About the role

Arcos Group is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with over 5 years of experience to join its Brisbane or Sunshine Coast office. You will work alongside a talented team of engineers and designers, contributing to a diverse pipeline of large‑scale projects while maintaining high technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple complex engineering projects from concept through to completion.
• Oversee and review design documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and quality expectations.
• Utilise CAD and 12D software to develop and refine technical solutions.
• Prepare and review construction methods, QA and ITP documentation to ensure design compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in civil design and drafting, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Chartered / RPEQ registration desired.
• Construction White Card.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑focused environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in 12D (including Network Editor).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with CAD software.
• Construction White Card certification.
