Senior Business Development Manager

About the role

Peppers Marysville, a resort in Victoria's Yarra and Cathedral Ranges with 100 guest rooms, a restaurant and bar and conference and event facilities, is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager based in Melbourne. The role drives new business, builds strategic partnerships and grows revenue across corporate, conferencing, events and leisure markets, working closely with the Revenue and Marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business across corporate, conferencing, events and leisure markets.
• Identify and convert new sales opportunities through prospecting and networking.
• Build strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
• Manage the sales pipeline and achieve business development targets.
• Prepare sales proposals and conduct client site inspections.
• Grow existing accounts and maximise repeat business.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue and Marketing teams to drive revenue.
• Monitor market trends and identify growth opportunities.

Required profile

• Sales or business development experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts or tourism.
• Knowledge of corporate, conferencing, events or leisure markets.
• Proven track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
• Current driver's licence, own vehicle and flexibility to travel to Marysville.
