Senior Auditor

About the role

Boyce, Australia’s leading regional accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its audit team across any of its offices. You will work with a varied client portfolio, delivering audit, assurance and statutory accounting services while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide audit and assurance services to a diverse client base, including public‑offer agricultural, foreign‑owned, and large not‑for‑profit organisations.
• Perform statutory accounting and compliance work in line with regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships across regional offices.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the practice.
• Utilise audit software and Microsoft Office tools to prepare and review audit documentation.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business or a related field.
• Extensive audit experience, preferably at a senior level.
• CA or CPA qualification (or in progress) with a willingness to complete if not yet attained.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to explain complex financial information in plain English.
• Commitment to continuous learning and teamwork.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit software such as Caseware (or equivalent).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
