Senior Associate - Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety

About the role

Clayton Utz is recruiting a Senior Associate to join its Sydney Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety (WRES) team on a permanent, full-time basis. Working with partners Saul Harben and Cynthia Elachi, the WRES team represents a strong client base across private and public sectors and handles high-profile matters covering industrial relations, employment, discrimination, work health and safety, investigations and litigation before courts and tribunals. The team offers structured career progression, mentorship and leadership development.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a Senior Associate or equivalent role.
• Strong experience across a range of employment law and industrial relations matters, gained within a reputable commercial law firm.
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team to manage a diverse workload.
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior team members.
• High degree of initiative, dedication and commitment to client service.
• Interest in developing and taking part in business development activities such as seminars and publishing articles.
