Senior Associate (Insolvency)

About the role

Chambers Russell Lawyers, a national commercial law firm with offices in three capital cities, is hiring a Senior Associate for its insolvency practice in Sydney. The role sits within a rapidly growing insolvency team with direct client exposure, and involves hands-on work across a wide range of debt recovery and insolvency processes. It suits a strong Senior Associate or Special Counsel, or a Principal/Partner-level lawyer, who can manage an independent case load.

Required profile

• 4+ years of post-admission experience in debt recovery, insolvency or bankruptcy; other commercial litigation experience is also considered.
• Ability to manage your own file load and to mentor junior lawyers.
• Ability to build strong client relationships and to deliver high-level service to clients.
• Strong attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
