Senior Associate - Business Tax & Advisory (Private Business)

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring a Senior Associate in its Business Tax team within the Entrepreneurial & Private Business line of service. You will help high-net-worth individuals and privately owned businesses make key financial decisions through personalised tax planning, compliance services and strategic advice that optimises tax positions while protecting long-term interests. The role works with clients across industries, from family enterprises to growing businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review client tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations
• Advise on tax-efficient strategies, including succession planning, mergers and acquisitions and reorganisation
• Keep up to date with tax laws and regulations to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Break down complex concepts and use data to inform recommendations

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification (or working towards)
• Tax accounting background with expertise in business tax, tax planning, tax compliance and tax advisory
• Experience preparing and drafting tax documents
• Learning agility and interest in AI's influence on the tax landscape
