Senior Associate, Audit (6-Month Contract, WHV)

Key responsibilities

• Drive independent statutory audits of public listed and unlisted companies, proprietary companies, incorporated associations, not-for-profit entities and government bodies' financial reports
• Create complete and accurate audit work papers
• Identify and report on client financial risks
• Analyse financial statements to check compliance with statutory requirements
• Investigate difficult technical and application issues to improve client outcomes

Required profile

• Experience in a similar audit and assurance environment
• CA/CPA full qualification or another relevant overseas qualification
• Exceptional client relationship and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and team members in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of IFRS and auditing standards
• Statutory audit and assurance
