Senior Architect

About the role

maarch* is seeking a full‑time Senior Architect to join its Nedlands studio. You will lead multi‑residential, aged‑care and commercial projects from concept through construction, working directly with Principal Mark Aronson.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects across all stages – concept, design development, construction documentation, contract administration and completion.
• Coordinate consultants, manage client communication and ensure quality control at every phase.
• Contribute to design development and documentation with high technical precision.
• Support the Principal with approvals strategy and planning advice as required.
• Mentor junior team members and help shape studio culture.

Required profile

• Registered architect with a strong portfolio in residential and commercial typologies.
• Proven experience managing projects through all stages, including contract administration.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD (preferred but not mandatory).
• Solid understanding of Western Australia planning and approvals processes.
• Technically rigorous, commercially aware and excellent communicator.
