Senior Architect / Associate

About the role

Archer Office is a design studio focused on cultural, performing arts, transport, sports, commercial and residential projects. The Senior Architect / Associate will lead projects from concept through delivery, shaping high‑quality architecture while mentoring the design team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept design through to completion.
• Oversee project budgets and programming.
• Maintain design intent through to the finished build.
• Prepare documentation for consultant coordination and client presentations.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Provide problem‑solving options to address design and delivery challenges.

Required profile

• Play a key role in projects through all stages, ensuring high‑quality delivery.
• Strong leadership with the ability to mentor the team, supported by the Director.
• Collaborate throughout design stages and with senior team members.
• Drive a positive and collaborative studio culture.

Required skills

• Proficient in ArchiCAD and Revit.
• Experienced with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent documentation, presentation and communication abilities.
• Thorough understanding of the NCC and Australian Standards.
• Registered architect or on pathway to registration.
