Senior Analyst, FP&A

About the role

First Sentier Group is looking for a Senior Analyst, FP&A to support Finance Business Partners across the Enablement Group. Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A in Sydney, you will help deliver reporting, planning and forecasting while partnering with Project Managers and the PMO to track Transformation Office costs and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and executive reporting for the Enablement Group.
• Partner with Project Managers, the PMO and Finance teams to track transformation costs, benefits and project performance.
• Assist in implementing and enhancing an Activity Based Costing (ABC) framework, including allocation methodologies and Workday configuration.
• Build and maintain scalable reporting, controls and reconciliation processes for business and transformation initiatives.
• Deliver ad‑hoc analysis, identify automation opportunities and maintain clear documentation.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified, or working towards qualification.
• Experience in FP&A, management reporting, financial planning and forecasting.
• Strong financial modelling, reporting, reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Proactive, adaptable, solutions‑focused with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across global teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including Power Query, complex formulas; VBA/macros advantageous).
• Experience with Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Power BI or similar data‑visualisation tools.
• Exposure to Activity Based Costing (ABC) and cost allocation methodologies.
