About the role
SMEC is seeking a forward‑thinking Senior Financial Analyst to join its Global Infrastructure + Energy Finance Team. The role is hybrid and can be based in any SMEC office across Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Manage detailed financial data for the Business Line to support timely reporting and informed decision‑making.
- Lead forecast and budget processes, lock‑up management, invoicing and cash‑flow oversight for major projects and joint ventures.
- Provide financial analysis of projects, cost allocation, earned value and scenario modelling.
- Support ANZ finance targets through governance, stakeholder relationships and system/tool initiatives.
Required profile
- Degree in Commerce or Accounting.
- Experience as a Senior Financial Analyst in a global organisation, working across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven ability to work independently, set priorities and lead teams.
Required skills
- Advanced SAP experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Power BI.
