About the role

Join Marsh's Risk Consulting Pacific team as a Senior Actuarial Consultant within the Analytics Solutions team. This hybrid position is based in Sydney (Barangaroo) and involves high‑value client engagement on general insurance actuarial and risk analytics projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver general insurance actuarial and risk analytics work across client engagements with a high standard of quality and professionalism.
• Work directly with clients, brokers, and senior stakeholders to translate technical findings into clear, practical insights.
• Coordinate effectively with onshore and offshore team members to support delivery and collaboration.
• Mentor and, when needed, manage junior team members as the practice grows.
• Contribute to client relationship management and business development activities.

Required profile

• Relevant actuarial or broader insurance industry experience, ideally with exposure to general insurance.
• Experience in an insurer or consulting environment.
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and providing practical recommendations under uncertainty.
