About the role

Join Marsh's Risk Consulting Pacific team as a Senior Actuarial Consultant within the Analytics Solutions team. This hybrid role is based in Sydney (Barangaroo) and involves working on complex general insurance actuarial and risk analytics projects for clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality general insurance actuarial and risk analytics work across client engagements.
• Collaborate directly with clients, external brokers, and senior stakeholders to provide clear, practical insights.
• Translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Coordinate effectively with onshore and offshore team members to ensure seamless delivery.
• Support, mentor, and occasionally manage junior team members as the practice expands.
• Contribute to client relationship management and business development activities.

Required profile

• Relevant actuarial or broader insurance industry experience, preferably in general insurance.
• Background in an insurer or consulting environment.
• Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and providing practical recommendations under uncertainty.
