Senior Accountant – Finance & Fund Operations

About the role

This senior accountant position sits within a boutique private‑markets fund manager managing roughly $800 million in assets. The role blends fund accounting, corporate financial control, and management accounting, offering broad exposure across both fund and corporate entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, timely fund‑level financial statements and investor reports.
• Manage month‑end close processes for both fund and corporate entities.
• Produce management accounts and support budgeting and forecasting for the corporate side.
• Liaise with external administrators, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure compliance across fund structures.
• Assist in implementing and improving accounting processes and internal controls as the business grows.

Required profile

• CA qualification or equivalent.
• Background in fund accounting, corporate accounting, or broader financial services.
• Private‑markets exposure is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience in a Big 4 or mid‑tier audit environment is ideal.
• Comfortable working in a small, hands‑on team where priorities shift quickly.
• Willingness to work from the office four days per week.
