Senior Account Manager – Retail Account (On‑site, Melbourne)

About the role

Driscoll’s is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead one of its key retail accounts in Melbourne. You will own the day‑to‑day management of the account, from pricing and promotions to forecasting and order planning, while driving category growth with our retail partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own a strategic retail account, managing pricing, promotions, forecasting and order planning.
• Translate customer needs and market insights into practical category plans that respect supply and production limits.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with retail partners and collaborate with internal teams to deliver results.
• Support category plans, promotional activities and new product launches to achieve sustainable growth.
• Communicate clearly, apply sound commercial judgement and follow internal processes.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in account management or sales within fresh produce or FMCG, preferably in a retail‑facing environment.
• Strong capability in pricing, promotions and commercial negotiations with retail customers.
• Excellent numerical ability and confidence working with data, forecasts and performance insights.
• Proven track record of building effective relationships with retailers, growers and internal teams.
• Experience leading or mentoring a small team or acting at a senior level within a sales function.
• Proactive, curious mindset with willingness to travel interstate as required.
