Senior 12D Design Engineer

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior 12D Design Engineer to design and deliver civil infrastructure solutions, focusing on road alignment and earthworks. The role offers flexible location across major Australian cities and involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Produce design models and documentation using the latest versions of 12D Model and AutoCAD.
• Develop innovative modelling solutions and maintain design standards across civil disciplines such as roads, drainage, sewer and water infrastructure.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to deliver cost‑effective engineering outcomes and prepare design inputs for estimating activities.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering 12D civil designs, especially road alignment, within a design consultancy environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in 12D Model, including macro programming, snippet creation and chain management.
• Competence in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with alternative design platforms such as OpenRoads is a plus.
