Security Operations Coordinator

About the role

A highly respected leader in licensed venue, event and corporate security staffing is recruiting an Operations Coordinator in Sydney. The role reports directly to the Director and coordinates, supervises and manages all security services while creating new business opportunities. It is key to maintaining compliance, service delivery and the development of a high-performing workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise security staff professionally and diligently
• Sourcing new clients and opportunities to support business growth
• Ensure strict adherence to policies, procedures and compliance standards
• Oversee rostering and live operations to meet client and venue needs
• Manage employee performance, training and development
• Liaise with clients, managers and staff to deliver quality service outcomes
• Identify operational improvements and implement compliance-focused systems

Required profile

• Minimum two years' experience in security operations with strong industry knowledge
• Solid understanding of security laws, compliance standards and operational practices
• Proven skills in staff supervision, conflict resolution and incident de-escalation
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Commitment to confidentiality, integrity and high professional standards
• Required qualifications: Cert II Security, RSA, First Aid and NSW licence

• Base pay of 65k - 70k plus superannuation, with earnings of 100k+ on target
