Secondary Teacher – Flexible Online & Onsite Roles

About the role

FisherONE Online College, part of Brisbane Catholic Education, is seeking qualified secondary teachers to deliver senior‑year subjects through a flexible online learning platform. The role can be performed from the renovated Mt Gravatt office or remotely, offering a supportive Catholic community and a learner‑centred environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum for assigned senior subjects (e.g., Physics, Engineering, Languages, Economics, Mathematics, Digital Solutions, Design, Psychology).
• Create engaging, learner‑centred online lessons that align with Catholic values.
• Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback and support individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with the online teaching team and school administration to maintain high educational standards.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with Queensland teaching regulations.

Required profile

• Qualified secondary teacher with current registration in Queensland.
• Experience teaching senior secondary students (Years 11‑12) preferred.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
• Ability to work flexibly across part‑time, full‑time, fixed‑term or continuing arrangements.

Required skills

• Subject expertise in one or more of the following: Physics, Engineering, Italian, French, Economics, Philosophy, Study of Religion, Specialist Mathematics, Digital Solutions, Design, Aerospace Systems, Psychology.
