SAP S/4HANA Data Migration Lead

About the role

The Data Migration Lead will design, plan and execute the end‑to‑end data migration for a large‑scale SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud greenfield implementation at an educational institution. Working closely with functional and technical teams, the lead ensures data integrity, compliance and a smooth cut‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the data migration strategy aligned with SAP Activate methodology.
• Define migration scope, objects, timelines and dependencies.
• Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to gather legacy data requirements.
• Lead ETL processes using SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC and related tools.
• Manage staging tables, templates and oversee data extraction, transformation and loading.
• Monitor data quality, resolve migration issues and support cut‑over activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data migration projects for SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and greenfield migrations.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with client stakeholders and SAP experts.
• Ability to manage multiple dependencies and deliver within defined timelines.
