Sales Support Officer (Maternity Cover)

About the role

Elders is looking for a Sales Support Officer to join its growing team in Bendigo on a full-time, fixed-term 12-month contract. As the first point of contact for clients, the officer supports the sales teams in building client relationships and helps run the branch office. The role suits someone who wants to grow their career within the agribusiness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert administrative support to the team so the branch can build professional relationships
• Support all areas of the sales process and help run the office
• Provide support for livestock processing as needed
• Create promotional and marketing materials for the branch
• Help clients explore new opportunities and maximise promotional opportunities, including field days and community events
• Assist with expense management

Required profile

• Comfortable in a collaborative, results-focused environment
• Smart, resourceful and forward-thinking, embracing technology
• Passionate about making a difference for clients and the community
• Keen eye for detail and a background in business administration
• Understanding of agriculture seasons
• High level of customer service and relationship-building skills
• Experience preferred but not essential
