Sales & Service Insurance Consultant - Entry Level

About the role

TSA Group is recruiting an entry-level Sales & Service Insurance Consultant for its client IAG, who represents the insurance partner NRMA. The role involves handling a high volume of inbound calls, helping customers with their insurance needs and offering general insurance products such as motor, home and CTP insurance, as well as NRMA Roadside Assistance. It is an entry-level position with paid training and support.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound calls and help customers with their insurance needs
• Use effective communication to build rapport and give engaging customer experiences
• Offer general insurance products: motor, home and CTP insurance, and NRMA Roadside Assistance
• Be flexible with hours so that customers are available when they need you

Required profile

• Based in Brisbane
• Excellent communication skills, able to listen, empathize and engage in friendly conversation
• Strong computer literacy and multitasking abilities
• Self-motivated, resilient and solution-oriented
• Openness to learning new skills
• A fixed internet connection and a suitable work-from-home setup

What we offer

• Paid training and salary progression: $55,800 + super during training and onboarding, rising to $58,220 + super in production
• Monthly incentive based on KPIs, up to $200 in the first 6 months and up to $500 thereafter
• 6-week training (Monday to Friday) followed by a roster Monday to Sunday, 7am to 8pm, with hybrid options after probation
• Weekend penalty rates of over $40 per hour
