Sales Manager - Applied NSW

About the role

Daikin Australia is looking for a sales-focused Sales Manager - Applied to join its team in Warwick Farm, NSW. The role manages and develops the Applied sales team in the region to deliver sales results and company strategy, with travel expected to about 30% of the time into regional NSW, Tasmania and possibly overseas factories.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of Account Managers and internal technical sales support.
• Monitor sales performance against budget requirements.
• Take part in major dealings with contractors and consulting engineers.
• Provide technical and sales support to Account Managers on chilled water products and software applications.
• Help ensure the specified chilled water systems are fit for purpose, acting as escalation point for the account management team.
• Follow up outstanding queries from consultants and contractors.
• Coach and mentor the team to improve the win/loss tender ratio.
• Produce monthly reports on sales programs and quarterly objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC industry experience with chilled water systems.
• Minimum 2 years of people management experience leading a sales team.
• Tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering and/or trade experience in chillers.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under constant pressure and a customer satisfaction mindset.
