Sales & Estimating Manager

About the role

Boral Asphalt supplies high-quality surfacing for Australian roads and construction projects, from local streets to freeways, highways and airport runways. It is looking for a Sales & Estimating Manager to lead its Sales & Estimating team, win major projects and represent Boral in the market.

Key responsibilities

• Win more tenders and strengthen the company's position in the market
• Lead skilled estimators and key account managers
• Coach the team to deliver accurate quotes, tenders and expressions of interest
• Write standout submissions for major projects
• Build strong relationships with customers and industry partners
• Manage risk through pre-tender reviews, contract reviews and post-project audits
• Manage pricing, product mix, margins and project costs
• Work with Operations to maximise the use of the supply chain
• Represent Boral at industry events

Required profile

• A track record as a results-driven sales leader
• Experience in the construction industry
• Sound commercial and financial judgement
• Experience managing risk
• Clear, confident leadership and communication, with great attention to detail and strong relationship skills
