Sales Engineer – Hydraulic Drive Solutions

About the role

As a Sales Engineer for the Hägglunds business unit, you will act as the technical bridge between customers and Bosch Rexroth’s hydraulic drive portfolio. You will support industrial and heavy‑industry clients, helping them select and implement the right drive solutions to meet their operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers, OEMs, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Identify new business opportunities, grow existing accounts and drive regional sales of Hägglunds products.
• Provide technical guidance, system recommendations and pre‑sales support to deliver engineered solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial quotations, negotiate contract terms and support tender submissions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to inform pricing and growth strategies.
• Collaborate with internal Engineering, Production, Service and Quality teams to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Maintain accurate sales reporting, forecasts, budgets and customer records.
• Represent the business at customer meetings, trade shows and industry events, with regular regional travel.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development or engineered solution sales.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and industrial drive technologies.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and drive sales growth in industrial or mining environments.
